Wanda Fay Dutton, 71, passed from this life on Tuesday morning, August 10, 2010 at her home in Erin Springs with her family by her side. She was born April 20, 1939 at Hickory, Oklahoma to Jim Vernon and Nita (Stidham) Burrows. Wanda grew up in the Pauls Valley area. On May 20, 1955, she married Herbert Dutton at Pauls Valley after which they established their home in Lindsay. Wanda worked for 13 years as a cook at the Lindsay Municipal Hospital and for a while she and Herbert owned and operated the H & W Drive In at Erin Springs. Wanda loved to cook, sew, and quilt. One of her favorite pastimes was working jigsaw puzzles on long, cold days. She was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church. Wanda will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Herbert Dutton of the home. Sons: Lonnie Dutton and his wife, Kathie of Lindsay; and Terry Dutton of Chickasha. Brothers: Bill Burrows and his wife, Faye of Pauls Valley; John Burrows and Jim Burrows both of Oklahoma City. A sister, Jean Dixon and her husband, Gus of Wynnewood. Grandchildren: Scott and Cheryl Dutton; Keith and Pam Dutton; Mike and Ashley Dutton; Cody Lee Dutton; Heather and Andy Stuchlik. Great Grandchildren: Natalie, Matthew, and Landyn Dutton. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Diane Allen; brothers, Bob and Buster Burrows; sisters, Marge Smith and Sue Brown. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Love officiating.
