Eva Mae Riddle, 95, of Maysville passed from this life Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Pauls Valley General Hospital. She was born January 17, 1915 at Haskill County, Oklahoma to Grafton T. and Maude Josephine (Haven) Eaton. Eva married Guy F. Riddle in 1931 at Kinta, Oklahoma. They later moved to the Maysville area to live. Eva was a very dedicated mother of 6 children with 2 of them having special needs. She was a “momma”, she was a “doctor”, she was “everything”. Eva always wore her apron and was a very good cook, she was especially known for making donuts and home made rolls. She had a talent for growing things. Eva enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and crafts. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Eva will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include sons: Bruce D. Riddle and wife, Phyllis of Tulsa; and Tony Riddle and wife, Elizabeth of Elmore City. Daughters: Glenda Joyce Riddle of Pauls Valley; and Mary Katherine Webb and husband, W. R. of Moore. Sister, Tina Utley of Edmond. 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; 2 sons, Grafton James Riddle and Guy Wayne Riddle; brothers, Ben, Debs, Sam, Earl, and Scott Eaton; sisters, Faith and Cecil Hoover Melhorne. Grave side services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 2, 2010 at Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Reid of Beaty Baptist Church officiating.
