Letha Faye Boettler Born: April 8, 1933 at Cox City, Oklahoma to J.O. Campbell and Lenora Martin Campbell. Died: July 31, 2010 at the Lindsay Manor Nursing Home. Age: 77 Faye Boettler has lived in the Lindsay area all of her life. She attended school at Cox City and Doyle. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Fay worked hard all of her life, she was a waitress at the Busy Bee Cafe on Broom Corn street in Lindsay and worked at the Oklahoma University Infirmary. She enjoyed bingo, playing Moon, gardening, canning, quilting with her sisters, and visiting her son, Michael. On January 8, 1972 she married Vernon Boettler at the Missionary Baptist Church in Blanchard. Faye loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors: Her husband, Vernon Boettler of the home in Lindsay Sons: Michael Sumpter and Crystal of Lindsay; George Sumpter of Lindsay; and Dennis Boettler of Norman. Daughters: Cathy Hassler and husband Archie of Lindsay; Laura Montiel and fiancé Ed Blair of Oklahoma City; Hazel Garrison and husband, Frank of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Connie Cowley and fiancé Lewis Jackson of Lindsay; Debra Dickson and husband Kent of Blair, Oklahoma; and Christie Perry of the home. 1 Sister: Allene Lindsey and husband Joe of Lindsay. 27 Grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and another on the way in December. Faye is preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Ray; brother, John Campbell; a son-in-law Artie Cowley, and the father of her children, George M. Sumpter Jr. Sisters: Lorene Ramming and Evelyn Riley; and nephews: Jack Lindsay, Walter Ramming, Eddie Dean Riley, and James Riley. ******Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Erin Springs Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home Maysville.
