Bobby George King

Bobby “Cowboy” G. King, 81, of Lindsay died Friday, September 10, 2010 at his home. He was born February 16, 1929 at Denton, Texas to Herman and Willie Mae King. Bobby lived in the Paoli area many years before moving to Lindsay 3 years ago. He married his wife, Gene at Enid in 1966. During his lifetime he had worked on oilfield rigs and also as a ranch hand working with bulls. Cowboy enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bobby is survived by 6 children. Brothers: Ed King of Arlington, Texas and Joe King of Lubbock, Texas. Sister, Helen King of Arlington, Texas. Sister-in-law, Doris King of Wayne, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Manila Gene in 2003; brothers: Gary, James, and John. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Hopping Cemetery near Wayne, Oklahoma under the direction of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
