Mary “Louise" Jackson, 78, of Maysville was born on October 27, 1931 at Paoli, Oklahoma to Isaac and Edna Foutch Gentry. She passed away at her home on Saturday afternoon, February 27, 2010. Louise grew up in the Paoli and Maysville area, attending school at French. For about 30 years she lived at Forestburg, Texas where she worked at Myra Cutting Factory and as a care giver for the elderly. Louise had also worked in restaurants, healthcare, and was a self-employed quilter. When she moved back to Maysville, she opened up a quilting shop in her home. Her hobbies were crocheting, embroidering, and sewing. Louise enjoyed her family and flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family. Louise was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons: Oliver Wayne Talbott of Pauls Valley and Michael Lee Talbott and his wife, Penky of Kenai, Alaska. Daughters: Betty Jo Berthold and her husband, Donald Ray Graves of Elgin; Margaret Olene Talbott of Maysville; and Mary Lois Hawkins and her husband, Terry of Elgin. Her sister, Lois Parks and her husband, Don of Maysville. 11 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren Louise was preceded in death by her parents, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and her companion, George Maughan. Grave side services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Lewis Cemetery, east of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
