James Quinton Stewart Born: January 29, 1952, at Big Lake, Texas, to Robert L. “Lon” Stewart and Amy Oleta Lambert Stewart. Died: June 11, 2010 at the Norman Regional Hospital Age: 58 James has been a longtime resident of this area. He worked in the oilfield and was a truck driver by profession. He was the husband of Bennie Kay Beene Stewart and they made their home in Maysville for many years. James enjoyed outdoor activities and all kinds of sports. He was a former Little League Baseball Coach, enjoyed playing pool and having big cook-outs with his family. He was a member of the Mountain View Full Gospel Church near Foster. Survivors: His father: Lon Stewart of Maysville. His wife: Bennie Kay Stewart of Maysville 2 Sons: Quinton Lee Stewart of the home and Michael James Stewart also of the home. 6 Daughters: Pam Hatfield and husband Todd of Maysville—Shawna Wilder of Lanard, Kansas-----Rikki Stewart of Maysville----Brandi Stewart of Norman—Marti Stewart of Maysville and Jami Stewart of Norman. 2 Brothers: Charles”Cowboy” Stewart and wife Debra of Atoka and Robert Stewart and wife Larri of Vega, Texas. 3 Sisters: Amy Lance and husband Max of Maysville----Virginia Eldridge and husband Arlis of Maysville and Tayana Richardson of Maysville. 15 Grandchildren and a great-grandchild expected later this month, as well as great number of other relatives and friends of the family. ***********Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at 2:00 pm at the Lindsay Assembly of God with Bro. Bryan Plant and Braunelle Richey officiating,with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
