Lillian “Imogene” Morrison, 75, passed from this life on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Tishomingo. She was born on January 19, 1935 at Lindsay, Oklahoma to Samuel and Maude Martin Phillips. Imogene and Doyal Morrison were married in 1956. In 1970 the family moved to the Maysville area from California. Imogene had worked at Kellwood Manufacturing Plant in Pauls Valley and managed a laundry mat in Maysville. She enjoyed her family, bingo, arts, crafts, and embroidery. In 1999 Imogene moved to the nursing home for extended care. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Imogene was affiliated with the Pentacostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her daughters: Teresa Goodknight of Norman, and Elaine Turner of Maysville. A brother, Dean Phillips of California. A sister, Lucy Dorches of California. 4 Grandchildren: Cammey Lansdale and her husband, Richard; Don & Jessica Turner; Michael Dry; and Kent Turner. 6 Great grandchildren: Cassi Lansdale, Andrue Miller, Shelby Miller, Stormy Miller, Jet Turner, and Rayce Turner. Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Doyal Morrison; a son, Stanley Doyle Morrison; brother, Louis Phillips. Grave side services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, OK. Bro.
