Linda Sue Morphew

Linda Sue Morphew of Davis was born to Dan William and Juell Ruby Gregory Barrett on February 17, 1944 at Amherst, Texas. She died on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur at the age of 65 years. Linda had lived in the Pauls Valley area since 1980 before moving to Davis 3 ½ years ago. She had worked at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center as a child care attendant before retiring after 20 years of service. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include a daughter, Maxina Jo Malcom of Davis, OK. 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren 3 step grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert G. Morphew; son, Richard Seth Morphew; brothers, Don Ray Barrett and J. W. Barrett; and sister, Lena May Miller. Grave side services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Maysville Cemetery. Rev. Charles Henthorn will officiate with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
